About

Hello everyone! My name is Andrew and I am a third-year student majoring in International Relations and minoring in Commerce. I was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to Vancouver when I was 11 years old. Because of my interest in global affairs, I am interested in learning about the history of different ways of thinking that influence international development today. Apart from academics, my interests include practicing aikido, playing guitar (or at least trying to!), and being involved with student clubs on campus. One of fun facts about myself is that I have practiced aikido since the beginning of high school! This year, I am interested in being involved with a wide variety of student clubs and organizations, as well as expanding my knowledge about economic and political developments in today’s world. I am glad to be your Peer Mentor and I hope to see you soon!
