Hello everyone! My name is Lauren and I am a third year Speech Science Major and Economics minor interested in pursuing a career as a Speech Language Pathologist. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the CAP program, specifically the Individual and Society Stream as a student, and I am excited to be returning for a second year as a peer mentor. Outside of going to lectures I play on two intramural basketball teams and I work at one of the Early Development Psychology Labs. In first year I benefited from having peer mentors help me get through the various challenges. I am looking forward to providing the same support to incoming first years, and also continuing to learn and share new study strategies – there are many techniques for how to be successful and I am happy to pass along the tips and tricks!
