Students in the UBC Coordinated Arts Program attend lectures, discussion groups, and seminars through five different research streams.
These small cohorts cultivate intimate learning communities that enrich the educational and social experiences of a student’s first year. The program’s stream topics give students and faculty the opportunity to discuss related ideas from various perspectives and to practice discipline-specific research approaches. The two-term time frame enables students and faculty to explore issues in complex ways and to undertake sophisticated research projects. Students may choose to participate in the year-end CAP Conference, which celebrates this research experience.
