Barbara Lee from the Vancouver Asian Film Festival, and Kabir Qurban from Free Uyghur Now, will discuss how they’ve used different media platforms (from podcasts to Instagram and TV appearances) to bring awareness to the issues their communities have been facing. Both speakers have increased education about social injustice and uplifted their communities by navigating digital spaces. We can’t wait to learn from them!
