The Capsule is a student-led, student-focused academic journal from the UBC Coordinated Arts Program.
Current CAP students are invited to submit written essays that are selected to be published as a part of The Capsule. Under the direction of faculty supervisors, the journal’s editorial board consists of CAP students and alumni who perform a variety of roles in preparation for the journal’s annual issue publication. With essay subjects as diverse as the CAP program itself, the journal’s interdisciplinary focus brings each of the program’s five streams together to celebrate the scholarship being produced within the CAP community.
(...)I was able to experience an academic conference and gain experience in this field. As well, I really enjoyed the smaller communities and the opportunities like joining the Capsule editing team, having tighter relationships with professors, and helping classmates out.
