Jason Lieblang holds a PhD in Germanic Languages and Literatures from the University of Toronto and is tenured faculty in UBC’s CENES Department. He is a former Arts One instructor (Seeing and Knowing 2015-17) and has been director of First-Year Programs (Arts One and CAP) since 2021. His research and teaching interests are broad, but highlights include language learning in virtual reality and the German horror film.
