About

My name is Sinem, and I am currently a second year CAP alumni intending to major in International Relations and minor in Human Geography. Having completed the Global Citizens stream, it allowed me to discover my passion for thinking about matters on a global scale, as well as the interconnectedness we are experiencing in the 21st century. Born and raised in Deep Cove, North Vancouver, I am also trilingual in English, French and Turkish, and wish to continue to learn about different cultures and languages from around the world. My interests include travelling, finding new ways to be active with friends (such as kick-boxing or yoga), and learning/expanding my knowledge through documentaries and television programs. I thoroughly enjoyed my CAP experience, as it allowed me to gain a sense of community, in a seemingly large campus. I am looking forward to be working as a CAP Peer Mentor and meeting more incredible and inspiring individuals!
