About
Dr. Ie is a lecturer in the department of political science, where he has been teaching since 2017. He received his PhD from the University of Western Ontario in 2018, and prior degrees from McGill and Simon Fraser University. His research and teaching interests are in Canadian and comparative politics, focusing on political leadership and executive institutions. Much of his current work involves the study of cabinet decision-making and cabinet committees at the federal and provincial levels. He was born and raised in the Vancouver area and is a proud second-generation Canadian.
