Dr. Evan Mauro receives UBC Killam Teaching Prize for excellence in teaching



Congratulations to Dr. Evan Mauro on being awarded the prestigious Killam Teaching Prize in recognition of his excellence in teaching and dedication to student learning.

Dr. Mauro, a Lecturer in the Coordinated Arts Program, teaches academic writing, literature, and community engagement. In partnership with Dr. Kirby Manià, he is also working with first-year students in CAP to summarize & make research more acceptable to residents in Vancouver Downtown Eastside (DTES).

The Killam Teaching Prize is awarded annually to faculty nominated by students, colleagues and alumni in recognition of excellence in teaching.
